Bulgari Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Bulgari (, Italian: [ˈbulɡari]; stylized as BVLGARI) is an Italian luxury brand known for its jewellery, watches, fragrances, accessories and leather goods. While the majority of design, production and marketing is overseen and executed by Bulgari, the company does, at times, partner with other entities. For example, Bulgari eyewear is produced through a licensing agreement with Luxottica, and Bulgari formed a joint venture with Marriott International in 2001 to launch its hotel brand, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, a collection of properties and resort destinations around the world.
An ouftragraged shopper mentioned "Awful experience from beginning to end. I will never buy anything from Bulgari again. They didn't have the item I wanted online so I called a store to order it. They required a credit card authorization form which includes sending them your credit card number and photos of the front and back to prove you have it - this is a HUGE risk. I absolutely would never give my credit card number and a photo of my card to anyone. How can a high end store even ask for that? So they after awhile they added the item I wanted to the website, I ordered it, it arrived and it doesn't fit. I took it back to the SF store to return it...they won't accept online orders so now I don't know what to do. The store didn't even pretend to be helpful. They were like "not our problem". There was no return label in the package and Customer Service isn't open on weekends? Bulgari sells thousand dollar jewelry and Customer Service isn't open on weekends!"
Former Employee - Server/Waiter says"3% payrise pushed by government and that's about it."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Low salary, management structure very unorganized"
Former Intern - PR Intern says"The learning team (HR) at the hotel was not the best"
Former Intern - Housekeeping Supervisor says"bad work life balance and not very international. The work was fairly mundane and it would be hard to do it for much longer than the scope of the internship. While the staff is very nice and friendly for an international hotel brand it could be hard to integrate being a non-italian."
Manager (Former Employee) says"Beautiful products with ugly management. Backstabbing is the norm at all levels, especially management. Place needs to be thoroughly cleaned out top to bottom and put in people with integrity."
WW Senior Operational Analyst (Current Employee) says"The "magic circle" management style of Bulgari dates back to 150 years ago apparently and, despite the admission to the LVMH group, is still there. So any decent employee (from junior to manager) that fulfills expectations and meets target BUT lives outside the "circle", gets a pay below average, poor salary increase and poor career advancements (if any). On the other side, everyone will make sure that the environment around you is always relaxed and never hostile, hours are flexible, benefits are nice and you can take plenty of vacations.Relaxed EnvironmentNo advancement, poor salary"
Supply Chain Specialist (Former Employee) says"Azienda solida.
anonimus (Current Employee) says"Fron the beginning of this year, about 10 manager, quit the company. Low rate for salary, the opportunity to hire resouces from France(less than 30km the border)is an habits for pay less... But there's an amazing view on the lake and the city is very nice."
Marketing Specialist II (Current Employee) says"Bulgari is a family name that is recognized around the world and it is a privilege to be able to work with such a prestigious company. The company has been experiencing growing pains in the past years as it is finding its niche within the LVMH universe. As well as LVMH finding a place for this iconic brand. Bulgari is a fantastic company with fantastic people behind it.Pto, insurance, 401K, discounts, sales, travelDoes not promote from within"
Client Advisor (Former Employee) says"I enjoyed working at Bulgari, however there were only Sales apps tino and general store manager. There is no advacent in the boutique. Therefore each sales person holds the responsesibility Of MOD when there’s no manager butbwithout the tittle.Nice working environmentNo room for advancement"
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says"A productive place, very aggressive enviornment, at least in the San Francisco location. Poor wage if you workedin Customer Service but offers great benefits. Managemen was not available when trully needed & aggressive. The hardest part of the job was the negative atmosphere, lack of cooperation & very cutthroat.Great benefits, travelNegative atmosphere"
Client Advisor (Current Employee) says"Management team was experience. Brand awareness was a huge challenge when discussing incoming traffic in this location. Great opportunity to implement different ideas to increment traffic. Such as in-store events and networking events."
Public Relations Officer (Former Employee) says"Multi-tasking taking care of different luxury product categories and replying to media enquiries on a daily basis organizing press events on a local basis organizing photo-shootings and product placement in top media networking with editors, bloggers and stylists working in collaboration with international press offices, HQ, logistics, marketing department, external suppliers maintaining a great visibility and accurate image of the brand in all its categories"

Customer Service (Former Employee) says"Work activities are quite easy and not very challenging thus you should always re-invent yourself and show your potentiality. However boundaries and restrictions are very strict and it will not be easy to show extra efforts to other layers of the company. No extra activities are really required. The job helps you to better define your role which it could be positive for enterprising people who struggle to undestand the different flows with no direct involvement. It is very difficoult to create link with other colleagues (also in the same department) due to the variety of the markets and the lack of information provided. It is very hard indeed working "blind" with no knowledge of your target nor strategic decision. Even if stress level is high, working hours are decent and there are interesting business trip opportunitiesdepending on the market you are woking for. Rewards and bonus are the real motivators.Salary, work environmentNo real opportunities"
